The greens at Ballyneal give the course a very high "resistance to scoring" rating.
The fairways are generous but the placement of your shot to the green is what makes the course..it would be very possible to play around there  hitting every green and still getting off the course without anything less than a three putt...
I would never classify it as easy...penal certainly not but scoring wise not easy at all.

Played TOC on a clear day with very little wind. Not the longest hitter but with the roll in the fairways you can reach 3 par 4 greens. The wind is a defence on links but I would put TOC in the Easy great course list....and would play it everyday.
