Pine Valley ...toonamint tees

 8) ;D ;)

Just left an annual three day trip to Pine Valley and had the pleasure ( or pain) of playing the back of the bus (new tees) for the first time  on the last day.  Two of us ventured back there , as one of our group was young and strong and the Florida Am Champ in 2005 and I sublimated my ego and accompanied him on the 6990 + yard journey ......having done so, without much success  , iI'm  still guessing the new tees at Merion are more penal for the really good player. Anyone who has played both feel freee to chime in !

 ....my playing partner hit it to 215 .... and he's pretty long ....I had aobut 257 from the lefrt trees lol

didn't putt too good shot an easy   , if there is such a thing 77...we both screwed up ten ...two hard earned fives on the easiest hole on the course...playing about 160

nope , I pulled my tee shot into the left bunker ...pin back left (ouch) and  was dead ...he caught a bad lie in the right bunker and wasn't much better off.  Personally loved the tees , even 14 this time....
