Is there really any need to pray for the recovery of a Saint?

Here's hoping Bob recovers soon!

Nothing like witnessing Bob with Jason McOlgan's modern technology. Bob outdrove me the very first hole he put that club in his hands.

Bob - Get well soon!  Our thoughts are with you.

Best wishes for better health soon.  Sir Huntley and I have only PM'd a few times, but each time he was thoughtful and engaging.  He is one of our treasures here at GCA.

Yes, may the grace and strength that has carried him through the changes and ups and downs of his life so far see him through this challenge safely and quickly.

My thoughts are with you, Bob.

A few years ago -- without ever having met him -- I sent an IM to Bob about a funny story regarding my father, a business deal, and a certain Monterey Bay golf course. He could not have been nicer in hearing about the story, and relating a few anecdotes about a member of a club we both knew.

One of the true gentleman of this site, or anywhere, I'm guessing. Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Bob and his family for a speedy recovery and a return to the links.

I have not had time to visit GCA in quite a while, but felt compelled today and now I know why. There is no individual with whom I hold a greater admiration as both a golfer and as a person.

Mr. Huntly Sir,
I will remove my hat and hold fast to the thought that you will have a fast and complete recovery. There is no honor I look forward to more than peeling off the bills as I lose to you one again the next time we tee it up. Thank you for being a role model.
