I presume the foreclosure sale went through. There was no follow up article. Just this note saying that the course is "shuttered."

The original nine holes was Maurice McCarthy.

I played there a couple of years ago and enjoyed it.

Man, I remember interviewing for a newspaper job in Lehighton in 1998. I got out of there with a quickness--it was practically a ghost town even back then. So I can't say I'm surprised about this one.
