I got invited to an event for 3D golf at the Masters that is being put on here by Comcast. Going on Friday afternoon.

I'm interested to see how cool it is. Or if it is a dud.

To my Philly guys:  my A/V specialist Ray Martin over at Hi-Fi House in Broomall just got a Samsung 3D tv set up and running and will be showing the Masters in 3D.  I need to find out if Comcast/ANGC is broadcasting all of the coverage in 3D or not.  If you went to meet up with me there, let me know.

If you find yourself in Center City Philadelphia, you can watch The Masters in 3D at the Comcast Building:

Never seen anything in 3-D.

But I heard 3-D golf is spectacular.

In Northern California a local sports bar is advertising having 3D TV for the Masters. Smart idea as  I am quite sure they will sell enough beer to pay the 3K for the set and make a good profit.

If you are interested 2.5 million units will be sold worldwide in 2010, more than double the forecast issued in January. As the market grows  27 million units are expected to be sold in 2013.

3D TV is here get your glasses

Avatar in 3-D was amazing, but I hate the goof glasses.  I want a band - like Jordy on Star Trek NG.

PS Couples and Watson in at -3 so they'll make the cut - yea!!!

I chose to play golf on Saturday afternoon rather than visit my A/V store where it was set up, and they were closed on Sunday.  But I'm checking now to see if they DVRed any of it.  Hopefully I might be able to report back an experience soon....
