Can anyone advise me of the name and date of the first golf course in Georgia USA,  even if it is now closed.

Savannah, the proud and house-beautiful Georgia coastal city that the controversial Lady Astor (originally a Virginia belle (nee Nancy Langehorne)) once labeled a "beautiful lady with a dirty face."
