I've read GD since I was a kid. It just gets less and less interesting every year.
My favorite issues used to be the major previews. I remember for a long time, the US Open issue would always have a big color fold out map of the course and a long, in-depth article about the course with great photos. These days it seems like we might get a one page article. Even the Masters issues aren't that interesting anymore.
I was never into the instruction side of the magazine to begin with, but I tolerated it. But it seems like it's 90% of the magazine now (well that, and erectile dysfunction medicine ads).
