It will be interesting to see how they set the course up and what the pros shoot.

Wicked cool!

What I'd give to be able to watch this one (but having a gallery would spoil the fun for the players)

Wish it was open to spectators.  Also, I feel sorry for Brad Faxon since he is a member at Pine Valley and won't be able to paricitpate in the event since he has his charity outing in New England the same week as the pro-am.

I don't feel sorry for any PV member.

If I'm not mistaken doesn't Pine Valley have a Pro-Member every year?  It may be unique this year because the tournament is held on the Monday of the AT&T at Aronimink and may attract some Tour players, but I thought, and I could be wrong, that Pine Valley's member-member is an annual tournament.

Must be some mistake....the AT&T National at Aronimink is June 28 to July 4

Sounds like a cool event obviously. Too bad they couldn't open this up to a very limited amount of spectators. Maybe sometime in the near future if this is a success.

Must have been a typo by the PGA tour, and be June, not July.

Pat Craig,
Completely agree, but I'd imagine the event would be much more fun for the members (and perhaps even the pros) if it were held without spectators.

Of course...hopefully they will at least post a few of the scorecards of the pros. How cool would it be to get "shotlink" info on all the pros that play the course that day??
