Wanango Country Club in Reno, PA

What does everyone know about this club?  The website writes about the work Tillinghast and Ross did on the course.  From what I understand, it has joined the ranks of once private clubs now open to the public.   From what I can tell, it hasnt been discussed on GCA.  Any thoughts?

Bendelow also has his name associated with it.  It is an ok course, but nothing special.  Played it about 5 or 6 years ago.

Gee whiz, I would have expected at least a few more posts than this considering the names attached to the course.

At some point this summer I am going to matriculate up to NW Pennsylvania for a few days, so I still may play the course, but now I must reconsider.

I think it is nearby Oil City, PA, a town down on it's luck from what I could tell a few years ago when I passed through there. I have that one on my list of places to play soon.

Anyone have any pics?
