I second Bill, #7 is truly one of the great short par 3's in the world. You have to almost hit what you think is a miss on the right side of the green in order to keep it from falling down left. 7-9 is one of the best sequences of holes I've ever played so take plenty of pictures here.
#4 is majestic.
But get plenty of ALL the holes.
Have an incredible time.
And keep your drives in the short grass.
So the first time I play #7 it's 125 and the wind is blowing 30-40. (before proV1's)
I hit a really solid punch 4 iron about 10 feet in the air that lands pin high and just trickles to the back fringe.
Another pro playing with hits a very solid beautifully flighted boring full 6 iron that ends up on the green just inside of me.
We're playing with a reasonably cocky, atheletic tennis pro and I notice he's got a semilofted club which I assume is an 8 iron and I signal my buddy that There's no way he's getting this to the hole- He takes a mighty cut, the ball goes out and up about 50-60 yards, rises and starts coming backwards... We step out of the way, the ball, now traveling backwards , hits the ground directly between the tee markers, and DARTS VIOLENTLY backwards deep into the gunch well behind the tee.
Afer several minutes of hysterical laughter, we had almost recovered when he said (while still completely befuddled) "I knew the wind was strong so I hit the wedge "extra hard"
