Strange Request for our UK friends.....
« on: March 27, 2014, 10:28:33 PM »
In early June I will be attending a wedding in England with my family.   The nearest course to where we will be of high quality is Hankley Common. My son is nearly 9 and a pretty good little player, and I'd like to avoid schlepping golf clubs over there for one round for us.  The club has rentals for me, but obviously not for him.  Anybody live in the area and have a kids' set I might borrow for a day?  Thanks in advance....
Email me at jaylew1@Hotmail.com if you can help.

I had this situation once. Just put enough of your sons clubs in your travel bag. They won't weigh enough to matter. I'm sure you can pick up an old bag in England.

But he said he is renting his own clubs in England....

Don't think 9yr old clubs will fit in a suitcase...
So I jump ship in Hong Kong....

That could be a problem then. I think I would leave the 9 yr old at home.

Cheaper than renting ?  (if you have some one who could recieve them?)

Hankely is a BIG track for a 9 year old. From memory the famous 6th(?) is 175 yard carry over heather.
Let's make GCA grate again!
