Farm Links Pace-of-Play Experiment
« on: July 30, 2013, 12:45:57 PM »
Received e-mail today:

Introducing FarmLinks 3.5

Join the world's only R&D golf course
for a unique, pace-of-play experiment

BTW, it's only half the price!
Life's busy, and we know that you don't have 4.5 to 6 hours to spare for a single, 18-hole round of golf.  With your help, we want to test to see if a full field of golfers can complete their round in a manageable time frame . That's why we've come up with the FarmLinks 3.5 Club, an experimental, open-to-the-public golf event.
As the world's only research and demonstration golf course, FarmLinks Golf Club has the unique opportunity to offer feedback and insights to industry partners.  We also have the opportunity to offer better programs and services to YOU, our guest!  And with your assistance in this pace-of-play experiment, we can determine if some pace-of-play suggestions will help speed up play... and prove that a shorter round of golf is enjoyable and rewarding!

ARE YOU IN? Come be a part of the
FarmLinks 3.5 Experiment!

DATE: Thursday, August 15, 2013
COST: $75; includes: all-you-can-play golf, cart, lunch, snacks
and non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited use of the practice range. Also, receive a FarmLinks 3.5 Club logo'd hat!

Keep in mind that all play for this day is FarmLinks 3.5, even for replays.
Tee times for this event are first come, first serve.

Contact the golf shop to make your tee time:
(256) 208-7600 or tdavis@pursellfarms.com

Hope to see you at FarmLinks!

Would be nice if they told you how they are going to do that.

Or even clearly state that the expectation is to play in 3.5 hours or less.
