Now I am begining to get a complex that perhaps I know nothing about architecture...I really do like that hole...tough as nails, demanding tee shot.
I know most dont like it, and I could do without the back bunker...but I guess I am alone :-[

Take a deep breath, you'll be fine.  I agree with you on the difficulty, it's a tough 3.  My whole point is that I really haven't heard anyone else that really likes the hole.  As much as #12 gets knocked around, I'm sure this May you'll be rewarded with birdies for having it's back.  ;D
