Joe, there is a course in the town, but this location seems East of the current course. I think Route 45 is US 45 and there is still a Park Hills drive. If you go to Google maps and search the Dietrich Bank this area seems just to the NE.

This course is gone. Most of the course areas have been filled in by housing. It's on Google Maps or Google Earth immediately north of St. Anthony High on the north side of town. There are grain elevators across the street from the double-lane entrance.

This is the Percy Warner golf course (now 9 holes it seems); this from the September 20, 1962 edition of the Nashville Banner.

With an assist from Sven:  This is the Harpeth Hills GC in Percy Warner Park.  Pretty sure the course still has 18 holes.

I loved this course as a kid.  It may have been the first "championship" course I ever played with real cloverleaf shaped sand traps.. 72 in all.

The stretch of 11, 12, and 13 was my own Amen Corner.
