Sven, any idea who designed this nine-hole layout for Sparrows Point?  Later they moved to another location and this current 27-hole course was designed by David Gordon, I think.

Following are two drawings of White Beeches Golf & Country Club (Haworth, NJ) which is mostly a Walter Travis revised course (1918-1920) to this day.

The first from 1910 shows the original Val Flood designed nine holes course on the top right, but also includes the Mayor Grant Estate private course in the lower left which were merged about two years later to create 18 holes for the club.

The next drawing is from the club's 75 year anniversary book.
