Folks,

This upcoming Tuesday January 19 The Most Beloved Figure in Golf will be in Chicago, and me, the Venerable Shelly Solow, Casper the Friendly Rick Holland and The Honorable Terry Lavin will be hosting dinner and drinks (dutch) with him and us at Keeffer's Restaurant, 20 W. Kinzie (in the room to the right of the entrance).  Drinks 6:30, dinner around 7 lots of GCA talk throughout (and DUI's in the wee hours).  Please RSVP so we know how many to expect and can plan.

Terry
Jeff
Shelly
Rick

ps  If you don't know who TMBFiG is, you don't belong at the dinner.  ;D

Jeff-

Not sure if I would be able to make dinner, but if I'm welcome I'd love to stop by for a drink and say hello as Keeffer's is a quick walk from my place.

Glad to see Beverly CC will be well respresented.  To heck with Golf's Most Beloved - one should NEVER pass up the opportunity to dine/drink with Mr. Solow.  Can this meeting be web-cast?

Chicagoans,

Do not miss this opportunity! Just be careful, Morrissett's libel to sneak out just before the check arrives  ;D

Nah! Kidding. Ran's some of the best company available. No joke.

Bogey;  I am more than flattered.  Too bad you won't be in Chicago.  Jeff;  Your spelling faux pas (libel for liable) might be considered a "freudian slip" as the suggestion that Ran has deep pockets and short arms may be actionable.  Proving damages would be another matter.

Wow! I thought Terry Lavin was the most beloved figure in golf...

Anyway, Clint Squier and I would be honored to join the group!

Thanks,

TMBFiG used to be one of the most beloved figures in golf not so long ago. What happened to the other guys?

After about 3 pops,  I hope they pass around some of the 'funny' Beverly bulletins.

Jeff,  I'll be there.  Thanks for picking something a block from the office (Mr. Honorable must know someone there).  Looking forward to some good golf stories.  Thanks for setting this up.

Anyone plan on being there before 6:30? I can't make dinner, but wouldn't mind having enough time to mingle and have more than two cocktails.  ;D

I am trying very hard to get a meeting switched so that I can come see y'all and especially Mr. Morrissett!

Cheers!!
