Another Lost Farm Picture
« on: January 13, 2010, 03:15:22 AM »
A panoramic view across the Little Forrester River from the 16th tee at Barnbougle Dunes.

Unearthly golfing beauty.

It's wide  so some scrolling is required.

And, another view from the 15 tee  looking down the river.  Some awesome dunes.

the first one is my new desktop background.
Mr. Keiser told me about a week ago that the 'Lost Farm' might turn out to be the best golf course in the world.

Bryan,

Thanx for posting the pix but it really doesn't look like very good ground for golf... ;)

Is the river current quick enough to go tubing and is the water cool enough to troll a six-pack?

Hey Mike,

Welcome back.  Nah, I was looking for the deeds.   ;D

Michael,

Lazy tubing, yes.  And trolling the 6-pack would be cold, but kinda salty.

A couple of more pictures.  First, looking over BD's 14th green, 15 tee and across the river, more lousy golfing ground.  And secondly, a picture of the coastline.  Too bad that oceans that are out of play don't count in assessing courses.   ;)

Wow, just when I thought "there is no way his hillbilly-ness could impress me more."
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

When is the proposed opening of Lost Farm?  I thought it was originally slated to open December 2010?  Or was is December 2011?  The land out there looks amazing.

It will be late this year, in the Australian spring.
