Great pictures.

There's something about the scale of some of them that is striking.
Perhaps it's the absence of trees in some of those photos.

In many, the greens and bunkers seem very large and the fairways very wide.

My question, to modern day architects, is: what happened to those "styles" of bunkers ?
Why do we not see them today ?

Is it their cost to construct, public perception of what a modern day bunker should look like, or, a lost art ?

Very cool.

I see a couple of Pasa shots here for the first time.  Thanks for sharing.  What a difference then vs. now.  The barrancas were really intimidating back then with their bare look.
