Terranea Golf in Rancho Palos Verdes
« on: December 22, 2009, 01:54:35 AM »
Just played Terranea. I very cool par 3 course in Rancho Palos Verdes. Very nice bunkering, variety of holes and condition. Number 2 has a nice boomerang green. The angle of the green on number 5 makes a very uncomfortable shot. Number 6 is a nice punch bowl green. Number 7 has an invisible green. All have some great run off areas for some tough chipping. All in all a great little spot and would be nice to see more things like it built.

Well said Damon,

It's one of the funnest 3 par courses I've played. Can't wait for the one at Bandon too!

Anybody know who designed it?

I may try to play it next week when I am in LA. If anybody wants to join me, IM me.
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

Todd Eckenrode (Barona) designed it. My significant other has been wanting to start golfing with me and Terranea is where I always take her. I think the measuring stick to this is that a beginner like my girlfriend has just as much fun as me. It's a fun and well designed track.
