Is there any more land in the trees? How about another Fazio homage to Pine Valley...

I think Phillips would be the best option for this site...

Yes, Brian would do a great job!

One of the great things about Bandon is that it took "relatively" unknown architects and put them on the world stage.  (I say relatively because C&C already had Sandhills but few knew about it.)

I disagree with the relatively unknown as a reason for any of his choices.

I'd guess he chose Kidd in part because he would be open and malleable to Mr. Keiser's ideas.
Now that he knows who he likes to work with why would he risk working with less?
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

"I think Phillips would be the best option for this site..."   Jed, what site are you referring to?

"Anyone have an 'aerial' of the proposed site?"  Rob, what site are you referring to?

George - it is probably half and half.  I know someone that has walked the property and said it was similar to Sheep Ranch in elevation change and that it could produce a fun course.

[/quote] I believe it was in Golfweek about two years back, that Keiser wanted to recreate a St. Andrews type town feel.  There is going to be a golf course down in the town of Bandon with homes.  I believe it is near the old Bandon airstrip which I believe he bought.

Tom - you know, the site that is being mentioned :)

Its not me, I am concentrating (or dreaming is a better word) on the olympics golf course! So we are narrowing it down!

Was just reading the old Feature Intyerview with Mike K and came across this. May not have come to fruition, but it's a better hint than I have seen elsewhere:

Of course Old Mac was the fourth course, but still...

28. Who will he select as the architect for the 4th golf course, and why?
I’m very impressed by Kingsbarns, so Mark Parsinnen and I have talked often of collaborating. We’ll see.
