I LOVE that idea of trades! But won't that have to wait until after we draft?  How would it work?

Fantasy sports don't usually allow trades until the end of the draft.  However, we could make rules to to allow participants to trade up in the draft.  For example, if I wanted to pick now, I could trade Teugega and Leatherstocking for the 35th spot (just an example, I'm not actually interested in doing this).

we've implemented a rule of six hours form the last pic...Jim gave Jaeger an extra hour...till 8:43 to pick...if no pick, I go and then Jaeger get to jump in when he logs in...same rule as in the NFL

I don't like the idea of trading individual courses, as it defeats the purpose of linking architects and their designs. I do like Alex's idea of trading a set of picks with the option of swapping out the courses for other courses by the same designer. Would that really happen in practice though?  Seems like you'd give up one of your earlier picks for the right to swap-out a course. Although I must admit I'm mildly intrigued to find out what Tims asking price is for Ballyneal. What the heck...let the trading begin. Free for all as long as the two parties agree. Alex's swap-in applies only if you acquire three of the same designer (could be interesting if you piece together parts from separate deals).

I'm open to ideas for making it more real. At a very basic level, we can have people vote which guy they'd befriend first if they had to pick just one.  And of course, the competitors need to come up with creative team names (in my hoops experience, most involved the words hooper, baller or rim in some sort of lame sexual innuendo.)

Alright Ben,

If you wanna trade up in the third round I'm offering my second round picks, more Raynor courses, for your Mackenzie picks and we would swap order in this third round. Also, if you wanna make things interesting we SHOULD be able to trade individual Raynor courses because the architect is shared.

I guess I'm proposing more trading rules too! ;D

Colt:

Royal Portrush, Rye, Toronto
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Royal Portrush was already picked!  Note to contestants: please review all previously drafted courses so that you do not pick a course that has already been picked.

Garden City is the Drew Brees of my team right now!  It is the best walking course with which I am familiar, and would not tire of playing it.  I'm actually pretty surprised that I got it in the second round.  Unfortunately, I can't give up GCGC. :-\ :)
