I liked Penn Hills...I'm going back tomorrow to be fitted for Henry-Griffitts clubs for a story I'm doing.  The Travis holes possess great greens, while the additional holes (with the exception of #2) are very competent.  #2, as you recall, is the tight and long, uphill par three that plays to a green hidden beneath trees, subjected to the plight of shade.  Some of those Travis greens would be near-unputtable if speeds were up, but that was his style.

who else has played BHF, and what did you think?
I have played it about 30 times and always enjoy a round there.
All three nines are unique in differnet ways.

Thanks Ronald!  I played BHF several times as a young whipper-snapper; it looks like it has survived better than I would have expected somehow.
