As much as I'd love to play it, just seeing it would be great  :D

Brent-

I just can't figure out how to post those Flickr photos on to the website......you found the right photos, but I can't figure it out.  I used the directions in an old thread, but no luck.

Any ideas?

It's unbelievably hilly...especially the front nine.

Jim, pull up the picture on flickr.  Right click on it to open a drop down box.  Left click on "Properties" to open another drop down.  Copy the "Address (URL)" and click "OK".  Go to your post on GCA.com where you want to insert the photo and right click.  Left click on "Paste" to insert the web address of your picture.  The last thing you need to do is to put [ img ] before the address and [ /img ] after the address only DELETE THE EXTRA SPACES I HAVE BETWEEN THE BRACKETS (if I did that in my post the website would interpret it as a picture and you wouldn't be able to see what I just wrote).  It sounds like a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of it the whole process only takes a few seconds.  Shoot me an IM if you have any trouble.

PS - Great pics!

Jim, one last suggestion, resize your photo by changing the first bracket to read [img width=800 height=600].  This is a pain in the neck but will help others see the picture in the largest size that will fit the current website without being cut off on the right hand side.

Jim,

Thanks for the pictures.

The golf course is simply majestic, architecturally and visually.

And, when you add the wind to the playing of the golf course, it's one of the most enjoyable challenges a golfer can encounter.

I know many will find this hard to believe, but, the pictures, as spectacular as they are, don't do the course enough justice.

It is a really, really great golf course and the Superintendent, Donnie Beck, has the green firm and fast, making the playing experience even better.

There's nothing quite like Fisher's Island.

What a place!

Brown is beautiful

If a player insists on playing his maximum power on his tee-shot, it is not the architect's intention to allow him an overly wide target to hit to but rather should be allowed this privilege of maximum power except under conditions of exceptional skill.
