Adam:
The one you played is the current 18th -- a very good finishing hole, and a very good hole on its merits, one of the best at URidge. All uphill, I've always thought it vaguely akin to what I've seen of Augusta's 18th, except the bunkers are on the inside of the dogleg, not outside, and there is a real choice about how much to cut off on that hole. I spent a lot of time there this past week near the 18th green, and it also is a very good green with some very subtle breaks in which the golfer is wise to account for the surrounding terrain to figure out the line.
The front nine and its routing problems (backups start occuring on the 2nd hole, and really pile up on the 3rd and 4th holes) diminish that nine, for me. I've always liked the back nine better, and it flows much better than the front.
