The tacos here in Del Rio at San Felipe Country Club (9 hole) are serious food.  The al pastor is to die for.  Good thing the club is only 3 miles from Mexico and the cooks don't know english. 

The Olympic Club's burger was as good as advertised.  Gib's build up to it was icing on the cake.

The beer on the back porch of the Tap Room at Pasa was cold and served with a view of an American Flag flapping in the evening breeze off the bay.

The bison burger at Ballyneal was big, meaty, and tasted like the burgers your dad made at home when you were a kid.  Structural integrity was lacking, but just can't get a burger like that on either coast.

The barbeque and sweet tea in Madison after a hot day at Longshadow was pretty tasty.

The egg salad at Augusta was just as good as mom's.  And it was the cheapest full meal I've ever eaten on a golf course.

Jalapeno burger at Oak Cliff Country Club (South Dallas) (n/k/a Golf Club of Dallas).

+1 on the Burger at Ben's Porch (plus just about any meal in the clubhouse at Sand Hills).

I would give my right arm to be 16 years old again, washing down a ham/cheese Stewart Sandwich with a 12 oz. can of Country Time Lemonade at Rolling  Hills Country Club in Ripley, Tennessee between my third and fourth round of the day. 

Alternatively, gotta go with the bread pudding and ice cream in the R & A dining room.  I've got the recipe.

There is a muni in Lansing, MI, Groesbeck, that has the best chili dogs ever.  I took 3 of them down when I lost in a play off of a junior tournament there.  Oh the good times.

Also, the beers the cart girl would sell us because we were employees of the course.  Something about beer on a golf course when you're 17 years old that is so nice.

The menu in the clubhouse at Glasgow Gailes is a list of stodgy old favourites. No salad, just food for men. I talked Bryan Izatt into trying the haggis and he seemed to survive ok.
