The nearest thing I have seen to the CC of C lion's mouth is #14 at Wade Hampton.  This picture is taken from the right rough (from the middle of the fairway, the front bunker is very much on a center line)...

While the side flanks are not maintained as green, they are very tightly mown (and puttable) and slope severely away from the elevated green shelf behind the bunker.  Plus the green tilts back to front like #14 at CC of C.  All in all, its very similar in my opinion.

Thanks all for the feedback and historic references.

I really love the visible personality of this green complex and the potential fun and delight of watching balls feed off the contours. I’m considering a general concept along these lines as an option for a cheeky, closing par 3 and as such the alternate examples and images are well appreciated - thanks for taking the time to post these.

Cheers – Lyne

I have not seen the green complex until this thread.
I am putting a very similar green complex at 60 yards off a driving range.
I think, from various angles, this will be a great green complex for practicing.
We are ripping drainage and irrigation thru this zone - perhaps a photo later.
