Great win

Matt,

And you didn't go to KP and play for the north because?

Matt,

That's great.

Those are two solid rounds under the gun.

As Bobby Jones said, "there's golf and there's tournament golf" and there's a big difference between the two.

Being under par for the competition is a terrific accomplishment.

Great win.

Congratulations Matt. What is your next event you are aiming for?

I just teed it up again this week after 18 months"off" as the fun had gone....but had a great time , it is good to be back playing again under the gun.

Matt,

Congratulations on your excellent play!  Good luck in your future tournaments.

Winning at any level is quite difficult, and there is no better feeling then when you do. ;D

Thanks everyone!

Even in a smaller tournament like this one, playing well under pressure and earning a win is really rewarding. It's even better because I started the year recovering from surgery, so ending the golf season with a win definitely helps me feel like I'm "back".

Garland, KP was too soon after my surgery this year - I had barely started playing again. But 2010 is a definite possibility.

Ed, I think I'm done for the season. The Stocker Cup at The Preserve is tempting but it's a lot of golf, money, and time off of work. I'm not quite sure what's next. Probably a few lessons as that's what I had planned originally!   :)

Good job sir!  Come to DC/Del/Phily come time and play a round with Kyle and myself.  You could also give me a lesson or two, but I'll be gracious and not pay so you can keep your amateur status.   ;D
