I'm in the Hamptons tonight starting on my 2009 world tour.  For the next 3 1/2 weeks I'll be headed around the world, with stops in Belgium, Holland, India [my first time], China, Japan, and of course Bandon, Oregon.  A couple of those stops are work in planning; a couple more are potential jobs.

Anyway, I don't expect to be checking in all that often over the next three weeks.  I'm sure you'll all be fine without me.  If you have any pressing questions, you can post them here for when I get back.

Have fun in Holland/Belgium, if you will play the classics that were still missing on the resume, I am sure you will. I hope the visit to Benelux falls into the potential job category, but somehow I am afraid it doesn't.

If you need any advice on locally hidden gems, or restaurants etc in the Netherlands, just let me know.

Wow. Better you than me. That would kill me! Good luck and my advice would be don't try to do too much which sounds like sort of foolish advice if one is really going to try to make in AROUND THE WORLD in 3 1/2 weeks!

I think that Tom is such a necessary component of this site that we should all chip in a buy a GPS tracking device that can be implanted under Tom's skin so we can log in and always know where he is.  Kinda like NORAD's Santa tracking over the Xmas holidays.
