Shreiner's Walker Cup BBQ
« on: September 14, 2009, 08:23:06 AM »
I just wanted to publicly thank Steve and Kris Shreiner for inviting the tree house to a briliantly executed Walker cup cookout adjacent to Merion.

I can tesify that the food quality and variety were outsatnding; Liquor ( go Spaten Octoberfest) a perfect foil to the dining; and  the welcome  enthusiastic and hearty  from these two fellows. It certainly showed the Shreiners perform with style and knowlege; i was impressed.

Thanks again fellows for making a great weekend even better.

It was a perfect place to relax between sessions enjoying good food and the company of friends. Plus Steve and Chris raised money for the caddy fund. Thanks again to the Shreiner family for their generosity, it just added to a great day seeing the Walker Cup.

Thanks again to the Shreiner brothers.Everything was well done. I enjoyed meeting many GCA members on Saturday and planned to attend on Sunday but a family dinner in NY precluded my attendance.

Yes, I add to the above. I sent a personal e-mail to the pam@ address earlier today.

and, enjoyed meeting many GCA'ers who attended and shared their comments.

A warm thank you from me too.  Shreiner Tree Care hosted a wonderful, detailed event.  I am certainly calling them for some much needed tree work at my house.

It was nice to meet a bunch of GCA'ers, local ones and ones who travelled significant miles.

+1. We showed up at the tail end of the BBQ on Sunday and Kris gave us a warm welcome. We had a nice chat over an excellent BBQ lunch. The pasta salad was top-notch! Thanks to the Shreiner brothers for putting this together--it added considerably to the Walker cup experience.
