Cap'n Kirk Beamed One Down
« on: September 03, 2009, 01:58:15 PM »
Last Saturday at Witch Hollow on the 12th hole. I hope it had a little bit of roll to heighten the anticipation. Yesterday, in true understated fashion fashion John hopped into my cart while players were mulling around wait for playoffs to start at a USGA Mid-Am sectional and we had a nice five minute conversation and this factoid did not surface.

It was posted in the newspaper.....
What does it matter if the poor player can putt all the way from tee to green, provided that he has to zigzag so frequently that he takes six or seven putts to reach it?     --Alistair Mackenzie--

Just played some heavy metal music. Really, my local rag has a Wednesday golf page and it lists all reported holes in one and double eagles.

I heard his round was also accompanied by 5 birdies.  And a double.  And a triple.
