The Inverted Biarritz

Any examples of a perfectly flag elongated green bisected by a severe horizontal hump?  Seems like this could induce the ground game as an aerial approach to a back pin landing short might not clear the hump and a slightly longer approach landing on the far-downslope of the hump would be propelled through the green.

  Bogey,

Thanks for this topic.  This was actually one of the things that Garland and I were discussing out in Washington. There are greens that have that thumb print/runoff on the back of the green with a rise in the middle ie 12 at TOC, but no real true inverted biarritz. With Garlands ground game and his inability to hit greens in regulation we think this would be a great design to equal the playing field with the stronger player.
