I am located 60 miles east of shreveport on the I-20 and I have never heard of the National Golf Club of Louisiana.  I would love to get some some information about the place. I will ask around to see if anyone else has any info.  The guys from south louisiana may know about it, hopefully they will chime in.

That course has only been open a week.  I have not had a chance to go to Lake Charles to see the course nor have talked to anyone who has played it yet, but then again it has only been open a few days.

Looks like pretty much the same idea as Gray Plantation, just on the other side of the lake.  Be interesting to see if Lake Charles can support two of those.  (I don't think any place in Lafayette charges as much, and the latter is a much larger - and wealthier - market.)

On the other hand, maybe it's designed to get some of Lake Charles's casino traffic.

I cannot believe that I have never heard or it or anything about it. I did not know there a course under constrruction in the state. It seems like an inquiry is in order.
