It was certainly rather scary at first since I saw the actual event, but after I got the cart off the sole of Jim's shoe I think he was mainly annoyed that his golf bag was soaked  ;D  It certainly could have been much worse.

In all fairness to the accused party so we don't think like of him.  I can personally vouch that.....

1)  He has absolutly zero alcohol in his system
2)  He was driving well within approved cart methods of operation

The slope on that cartpath was just a tough hombre to negotaite.  Its not only steep, but was also hard packed dirt underneath with small pebbles and dust on the surface.  It was almost like trying to drive a slope with snow on it. Earlier in the day Andy almost spun out in the same spot.

Key word being "almost"  ;D

The bad thing about that spot is that you're going along and the hill takes you by surprise, especially in terms of its steepness. If you're not expecting the drop then the gravel kicks in and its admittedly a tricky spot. Its one of those thing you'd only have a problem with the first time you see it--which of course doesn't help when something like that happens.

Thanks, Bill - man, am I ever embarrassed. I've only seen that movie like, what, 100 times. Of course Clemenza says "Leave the gun, take the cannoli"!  (The gun can't be traced, and he wants to eat the cannoli - who wouldn't?) In my defence, I think I was already planning my big "punchline", leave the Callaways.
