Southern Pines Golf Club - Historic Images

In looking back over some the older threads on GCA I noticed there is more than a little interest in the course I had the good fortune to learn to play golf on.  I thought you fellows might appreciate having a look at some of the historic images of Southern Pines GC that I've accumulated over time.  Some you may have seen before, but it is probably a worthwhile thing to have them consolidated.  As you can see, some of the images do not match with the course as we know it.  I suspect they are from a course that most likely was at the corner of Valley Road and Connecticut Avenue.

Is the 5th green still square?

I seem to recall that it was in an oval rather than a square shape last time I played it.  I'm pretty sure it was grassed in as well.
