I got a $73 rate for the Holiday Inn Express from their website. Two double beds if anyone wants to share a room. I snore some but I don't put out  ;D

Hancock would have been in until your last sentence....

Look...I talked DeVries into putting me to work. Talking Taylor into "putting out" will take about two minutes. You best be ready.

Aiken is a great town. Don't forget the Willcox!

There's a good brewpub around the corner from the Hotel Aiken - and what's that sandwich / pizza place with the great beer selection?

Chip - You do realize that we are playing Palmetto on Friday... early in the morning. I'm not sure how you are going to play Cuscowilla and Palmetto at the same time.

It may be time to break loose from that other rap. Maybe a parody of a Billy Joel song...."Only The Good Dye, Young"...or something like that........

bump - for that last slot at Palmetto.

For anyone who has been wondering what it is like participating in a GCA.com event, the Dixie Cup is a great place to stick your toe in the water.  Aiken SC is pretty accessible, the costs are very gentle, and there will be a good crowd.    The quality of golf is secondary to the experience of excellent courses and company.

I just might have to sneak in another Ross Friday afternoon since I am in the vicinity, Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta. Has anyone ever played it?

Don't bother, it's not very good. Not much, if any, Ross left and it's always in below average condition. You're in for a real treat at Palmetto though.

You raise a good point here Rich - with 8:30 tee times on Friday, there is plenty of daylight for 36. Is there anywhere nearby that is interesting and could accommodate?
