Yes, it will be great to see it.  I just saw that it starts at 4am EST.  13 hours of coverage on ESPN.  Time to spin up the old DVR.
It looks like this link allows you to listen to the BBC radio broadcast.  I couldn't get it to work for some reason last year and had to end up listening to those dreadful ABC broadcasters.  That better not be the case this year!

Mac, I love breakfast with the British.  Got the DVR set, I'll get up as soon as possible and watch until I head to work!  It will be great.

Mac,

The gowfers have started to tee off and here I am almost as far from the scene of the action as could be imagined. The Open won by Severiano Ballasteros at St. Andrews in 1984 encapsulated, for me, all that is so wonderful about golf. The beauty of the surroundings and the buccaneering style that so depicted Seve’s approach to golf captured my imagination and cemented my passion for this “the greatest gemme”.

Such were my imaginings, this evening, that I dipped back into the official Open Golf Annual for 1984. Therein Pat Ward-Thomas has written a piece “Homage to a Peerless Golfer” describing Bobby Jones accepting the Freedom of the City. Ward-Thomas cites Bobby Jones likening The Old Course to a “wise old lady, whimsically tolerant of my impatience, but ready to reveal the secrets of her complex being, if I would only take the trouble to study and learn”.

I am looking forward immensely to seeing who amongst today’s clutch of players has taken these well-founded words to heart. Fore! Fore! Fore!

I am with you...I look forward to it as well.

I am telling you the course looks great.  The town in the background makes it seems so crazy great.

My first image on this fine Christmas morning in John Daly smoking a cigarette, getting ready to hit a putt from WAY off of 18th green, through the Valley of Sin, while wearing some of the craziest clothes I have ever seen.

AWESOME!!!

Woke up early with my sons and watched Rory play holes 13-18.  Had to get to work and my wife comes down and asks if we can turn the TV off...and I reply that we were all watching.

She looks at me and asks..."WE" were watching?  I turn to my 7 year old and ask him who's leading?... "Rolly McIlroy"....what did he score..."63"....and what did that do...."set a new record".....

Definitely Xmas!
