How much of PM Ross's Turnberry is new design vs restoration?

I know CK Huchinson's short lived course from the late 30s was praised and Fernie's even earlier course was well thought of too, though probably more holiday than championship course.

I was always under the impression that CK Hutchinson redesigned the Arran .

It was Braid that redesigned the Ailsa in the 1920's  .

I don't know the answer but from hazy memories:  I have seen pre war photos of the great 10th and I'm pretty sure it was much the same.
