Walked & Carried 36 holes yesterday at Brunswick CC, and was very impressed with the greens....really quite unique, with some ramps, platform areas and staircases that make for a long day with the putter if you're not on the proper level.
It was dormant, tawny, pretty F&F, breezy and chilly enough to necessitate earmuffs for the first 20--25 holes or so. Managed to get around as a single in about 5 1/2 hours, so it was a "hale and hearty" amble, and I had no guilt whatsoever mainlining Heineken Lights in the handsome new clubhouse at round's conclusion. Tee to green the GC is relatively straighforward, but most anyone in this DG would enjoy a day at this course....the greens really make it.
