Currently, there are two amazing threads on one of my favorite places in the world on the board...both with major contributions from Aidan.  Seeing these photos almost makes me shed a tear...almost!   :-\

Thanks!!

Other good stuff, in no particular order:
1.  A great theater room with big screen HDTVs and very comfy chairs
2.  The fire is warm and inviting - just sitting around on a starlit night was sweet!
3.  There is zero light pollution.  The stars at night are almost psychedelic
4.  The lodging is great
5.  The caddies are great
6.  I love the windmill on the 4th hole.  Yes, there's a windmill on the 4th, but it just fits (it's one of those you see all over the Sandhills).  Gives a great sense of place.
7.  The rechristening of the tees as diamond/square/circle (like Sand Hills) was a great idea
8.  We had as much fun from the front/circle tees as we did from further back.  And I don't think anybody scored any better.
9.  Jack's Shack is really, really nice.
10.  Taking a Gator tour of the new course was a one of the best GCA-oriented experiences I've experienced.

How many pictures of rabbits do you have to take to get one that looks like that?

Almost makes me want to start a cartoon thread.

That "thought for the day" sign needs to be demolished.   ;D

Looks absolutely spectacular. I'm jealous of those of you heading out there next month. I wish I hadn't scheduled my vacation that week!
