Clue:  The front 9 is fairly boring but the back had some really exciting holes with spectacular water views.

No idea but it looks so much like NSW, so I'm going to guess one of the two courses right next to it up the coast.

Looks like Hopeman near Nairn. Has the potential to be a great little course but it has somehow lost its way

99% sure Jon Wiggett is correct about Hopeman.

Interesting aerial photo. That has to be one of the most "contained" villages I have ever come across in Scotland. No sprawl at all.

They also seem to have located the trailer park (if that's what that is on the upper left-hand side of the picture) away from the course.

It is Hopeman.  I made it easier by putting up pics of 12, 14, and 15.  I should have just used 12.  You guys are really good.  I'll try to put up other pics as the trip progresses and I play some wild, ancient places.
