Ditto - Thanks to the organizers for setting everything up and thanks to the Judge for the entertainment!

It was great seeing everyone and meeeting some GCAers for the first time!

It was great seeing and meeting many of the Chicago GCA crowd, even for a quick drink. Bummer I couldn't stay for dinner.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better next month at the next get together!

Did anyone ask him about his match at Sand Hills with Mucci?
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Hey, that was a really great time!  Appreciate all the work that went into organizing it and I look forward to the February meeting as well.

Ran, you are the MAN !!!

Last night was a real treat. It was a pleasure to meet so many other GCA nuts, and to just have a free flowing "stream of consciousness" discussion about courses and designs.  Very rare to have that kind of discussion in such a large crowd.

Highlights for me:
1.    Meeting so many GCA nuts, MANY of whom were so much younger than I had expected. Except for Lavin.
2.    Getting some fresh insight into the Dormie Club project.
3.    Learning about the worst tree in Chicago.
4.    Listening to hizzoner roast so many people in such a short amount of time.
5.    Enjoying a great dinner, and some great drinks afterward (thanks for the cocktails, Rick!) with a group of instant friends.
6.    Getting a chance to meet and chat with Ran! (Ran, see if you can get in touch with Natalie Gulbis, I think we're on to something here...)

Looking forward to the next dinner in February, and then, hopefully some golf - if we ever get above 40 here in Chicago again.

Mike,

Sorry I couldn't make it....What is the Dormie Club update?
