Macdonald's other courses
« on: April 20, 2009, 11:28:38 PM »
What courses did Macdonald actually do himself or say he did himself (always with Raynor as his surveyor, drawer, engineer) that had a committee in place he didn't appoint to do the course like Merion's Wilson Committee?

Get out C&W and check it out---it lists the courses he was given credit for. Or better yet, read Macdonald's own book. What courses did HE say he was responsible for that had a committee in place like Merion's Wilson Committee that he didn't approve or appoint?

What does that tell you?  ;)

Does two days total at Merion's Ardmore site tell you anything?

Why do I feel like I'm back in college and the professor just gave us our research project for the term? :)

I have both books behind me, but I really should do some work work. How much time do we have, professor?

Tom,
Merion will always be seen as Wilson's course, no matter the contributions of CBM, the committee, etc.. What does it matter if certain bits of info show that CBM had some influence? Does the course become 'less good'. Does the 'Philadelphia School' lose its credibilty?

Nothing happens, period.
