That's interesting, when do you think they'll be taken over by Cabot ?

I’ve looked at a load of the drawings on the Planning Application and can’t see any golf architect’s name. Plenty of Landscape Archie’s, Developer name, etc, but no golf ones. Maybe Mr Lawrence has some info?
DMK again, perchance?

Is it an outline consent ? Just thinking they might have stuck in some generic routing design done by the landscape architect at the early stage with a view to going back with a real gca's design at the detailed stage ?

PPS Yup. Just spotted PCK as the initials on one of the drawings…

PS I’m wondering if Kimber Glen might be involved…

That has certainly always been my understanding

Makes sense as Paul was DMK’s site guy at both MD1 and The Castle.

Holes 9 and 11 with near 90 degree dog-legs.....hmmm. Not sure about that. Need to be a clever design to make that work on a links....oh but wait, they have 5 tees per hole, phew, had me worried there. And the par 3's with a string of tees half way to the green....hmm lovely.

OK, enough sarcasm, but it's not really what you'd call a traditional links design but does that matter ?
