Interestingly, No 2 is Conwy (Caernarvonshire) GC of which I'm a member. Mmmmm.....

Some strange pricing for some pretty average stuff, though some of the better stuff seemed on the lower side. I did not check out the auction add on but I would be intrested to see what the 1930 US Open programme makes.

Lot # 295 seems interesting.  A Mackenzie drawing and description of Fruitlands, now called ANGC.

Got the Conwy print for $150, considerably less than the estimate. There's one on E-Bay, unsigned, for £600. Let's see what the shipping costs....

The Mackenzie booklet for ANGC, which came from the USGA library as a spare, sold for $5000 against an estimate of $1200-1500. Not too bad. Unlike you Adrian, I thought that there was some nice stuff in there. Picked up a couple of nice Darwin items myself :-)

Mark,
As it turns out I have got the Lladro figurines for $400 (plus fee and postage nearly $580!).  Had to laugh because I had not signalled my intention to buy to my better half.  Upon thinking I had failed in my bid I confessed and I got a sympathetic response from Tricia. "Oh what a shame and you've wanted Lladro figures for a long time.".  Upon my success being revealed she had nowhere to run!!

Such is life!

Glad you guys found some nice things to buy. I actually stopped by there on Thursday during my lunch hour and sat in the "gallery" for about 45 minutes. The action was so subdued I managed to fall asleep for 15 minutes or so. ;)

Glad I didn't find this until the 26th.  I could have lost a bundle.
Mark, happy you found something from Conway.

Same here. A 1924 Western Open program would have been tempting. I'll be paying my mortgage instead this month.
