failblog.org Engineering or design?
« on: April 07, 2009, 04:28:19 PM »
I find failblog.org hilarious, but what about golfail.org?

When a design fails, do you believe it fails more often due to:

1. The design, artistry, routing? (ArtFail)

or

2. Faulty engineering/construction? (BuildFail)

If it's bad shaping, this falls into Answer 1. (ArtFail)

.

I've just been paging through the failblog.org - a laugh a second.

As far as golf goes here's a pic that's so sad it's not funny.
In my opinion "Fail" in positioning of the green to get the best background views, unless one is thinking out of a more modern box as popularised by many building architects that the pylons frame the green perfectly and reflect honest utilitarian functionality

This could be a classic. I'd love to see folks posting examples ala Fail Blog, then the peanut gallery can comment on them.

E.g. a house too close to the landing zone of a hole.

first reply: "Setback Fail"

second reply: "Glass replacement company WIN"

Wait -- one of the items posted is Chindogu! They CAN'T do that!

This is NOT a fail, it is on Page 280 of the Big Bento Box of Chindogu.  I am going to notify Kawakami-sensei of the International Chindogu Academy.

Cat duster slippers on the other hand, now that's FAIL.

I just spent the last hour and a half on failblog.org.  Though I felt myself getting dumber, it was good for a bunch of laughs.
