Well of course I know....I haven't got any farthings but in the slight case I should lose I'll pay you the equivilant 2009 value which for 10,000 Farthings is about $6.  :)

Oh yes, and I'm taking UNC of course, and I'll give you 5 points just to be generous.  :D

Mr Braley:

Excuse me?? WHAT?? What did you say there????

YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FARTHINGS??

Then what in the Holy Hell are you making a bet in farthings with a professional gambler like me for?? Don't you realize people get their kneecaps smashed or even get shot for a lot less than that?  I don't want to bet for any measly $6; I want to bet 10,000 FARTHINGS, and so if you happen to run across 10,000 FARTHINGS in the next few hours let me know and we can have a bet. And 'Nova doesn't need any stinking five points. I'll even give you and those panty-waist UNCers five points against the Great 'Nova!

What the hell, you and those clowns can have 9 5/8th points!!

Why not choose the single best course in the same state within 15 miles of the school? Nova gets Merion on that basis. If you need to choose the course closest to the school period then Nova gets Philly Country Club---not bad!

No, but Radnor Valley probably is!!  ;)

Oh sorry, I might be thinking of Shipley School for Girls next to 'Nova. Well, come to think of it I bet Kalen Braley 10,000 FARTHINGS that the basketball team from the Shipley School for Girls could kick the piss outta those clowns from UNC.

Hell, we could bring in Cobb's Creek as a specialty player (*read ENFORCER) and still wipe up!  ;D

So what if Cobb's gets 4 fouls called against them in three minutes.   I guarantee that Arcadia Bluffs wouldn't suit up for the second half!  ;)

It's the best non semi-pro team from the Big East.

The only final four I know...

BU vs Vermont
                       \
                        \BU                   \  BU
                          vs                   /
                         /Miami-O
                        /
Bemidji State vs Miami-Ohio

How we got that unlikely crazy final frozen four devoid of any golf matchups is totally beyond me...  ::)

Do they even golf in State of Bemidji?  Whose the governor there anyway?  Hazeltoone, Minniecacca?

Miami in Ohio on ice?  Muirfield Village on the green, Sciatica CC?

Vermont's unique, Vermont's a rotten state: To martinique, that monserrat mystique...  Do they golf there ?  Ben and Jerry's MondeGreen Mountain National?

At least we have the BU Terrier Davey Silk to pick a course from Bean Town Mass...  ::) ;D

That's just cruel.
Big drivers and hot balls are the product of golf course design that rewards the hit one far then hit one high strategy.  Shinny showed everyone how to take care of this whole technology dilemma. - Pat Brockwell, 6/24/04

In that 2nd frame, why didn't he dish it to #20 alone on the baseline...seems like he would have had a much easier shot attempt.   ;D  And there was almost 3 seconds left to boot.

P.S.  Look at the shot clock and game clock in that last frame.  Its off by 300 milliseconds...the horror!!!

"Tom Paul,

Your Nova boys have to get past UNC first.  UNC made a very very good Oklahoma team look like a JV team on Saturday.   ;D"

Kalen:

Who? UNC?? 'Nova is gonna make those clowns look like a bunch of kindergartners. I don't care if UNC suits up the LA Lakers in UNC uniforms, Nova will kick the piss outta them too.

This is inevitable----NOVA already IS the NCAA CHAMPIONS! It's a done deal!!! I'll double it and bet you 800 FARTHINGS!

Hell, I'll bet you 1600 FARTHINGS!!!!

How many FARTHINGS did you end up losing?

I can't know that unless I can figure out if someone bet me. I didn't even see the game but I assume 'Nova lost which would mean UNC pulled off one of the greatest upsets in basketball history if not the biggest upset in the history of sport itself.

Ha ha..

Tommy, they did indeed lose and never even really competed....although they did give UNC thier biggest challenge so far in the tourney.

So i'll be seeing those farthings in the mail any day now right?   ;D
