I don't know of a single restoration work in Germany, where great design has always been rare. That's in part because there are only a handful of courses worth restoring, but also because architectural knowledge is nearly absent here. People think big mounding and artificial water hazards look good on a Colt course. There is no course built before WW2 in Germany that resembles it's original design. So in terms restoration works, UK, Belgium, Netherlands and France are ahead of Germany, but I think The U.S. leads the charge.
