I have that Masters on VHS tape and if you look closely at the gallery on 16 tee when Mr. Crenshaw hits that beautiful iron shot en route to another birdie and the green jacket, you'll see a tall skinny red head wearing a blue US Open cap standing right there in the front row directly behind him.

That was Adam Clayman.

No really, that was me.

Can we get this thread back on topic?

Seriously, tell Eric to start his own thread.... ;D
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

I've communicated with Matt (and will do so some more) and apologize to him for questioning his integrity and his business practice on a public forum.  I should have contacted him in private.  I've removed my posts per his request.

I feel very strongly about the practice of 'securing domain names' and I let that 'passion' cloud my judgement when posting.  I look forward to communicating with Matt to learn more.

Full apologies to Matt for me not thinking.

Sincerely,
Mike Blake

Honestly, what is so good about the site?  It's a bit rough.  Here are my reasons:

1.  http://www.coorecrenshaw.com/associates.html  This page is inconsistent.  Some of the guys are identified by name and photo only, while others (Jeff Bradley is the principal perpetrator) provide their life story from womb to doom.

2.  http://www.coorecrenshaw.com/portfolio.html  This page has a photo missing by John's Island Club, to begin.  The disparity between Coore's importance (9 solo projects to Crenshaw's 1) is evident.  Knowing that Crenshaw is rumored to not be on site at The Lost Farm makes apparent who the major player is.

3.  http://www.coorecrenshaw.com/design_philosophy.html  Who wrote this "philosophy"?  It is so pithy and generic that it makes me wonder what differentiates them from others (Hanse, Doak, Kidd, Andrew, et al) who profess the same tenets.  Bringing Ross, MacKenzie, Macdonald, Maxwell and Tillinghast together is fairly difficult, no?

4.  http://www.coorecrenshaw.com/news_media.html  Another inconsistent page.  First we have a litany of attractive photos with no reference to which course.  Then we encounter something called Image Gallery whose images pop behind the images below, showing only the top half of the photos (identical in Firefox and Internet Explorer.)  When you scroll down, the image gallery images block the other information.  Finally, we see a few articles about Colorado Golf Club only, hardly what we might expect from one of the most important firms of the day.

It's a nice site, it has flaws, and it doesn't knock me over.

Ronald,

Did you read the first post in the blog and what Dunlop White posted regarding his conversation with Scott Sayers in the early stages of this thread?  The website is live but not fully loaded with content so understand when it says this is a work in progress the content is coming so are more images, news articles and press releases about projects.

Do you understand anything about how websites are designed and developed?  If you did, you would see that the pieces are all in place the content just needs to be uploaded and this takes time.  I created all the framework and with time past, current and new articles will be posted via the admin system and you will see titles on many images.  The missing John's Island image is not my fault, I am still waiting on them to send me one because they are very private.

Now I will add one more thing - many of these courses are not exactly trying to give a hole-by-hole tour they have been very gracious to provide us quality images of these special places like Austin Golf Club, Friar's Head, Sand Hills, Hidden Creek, East Hampton and Old Sandwich and I respect the fact they are very private.  Please do me a favor and look around within the industry and compare CooreCrenshaw.com to their competitors.  The design captures the essence of what they do very well within 5 seconds when you land on the homepage.  This website was an opportunity to showcase their portfolio, their associates and their current projects along with creating a blog that would allow followers to post comments.

We will keep working and adding content in the coming months to make the website better!

It was nice to finally see pictures of Austin GC.  I've been wondering what that place looked like, as I havent been able to find pictures anywhere online until now.

i played it a few months ago....was told "no pictures" so the new C&C website is probably the only place to find them.

One does not need to own a domain name in order to bid on the right to develop a website for that party.

...

If you saw their previous web presence, you would know the true meaning of rough!
This new site in development is already light years ahead of what they had!
