That hole plays back inland from the last dune ridge, so it will be a very difficult left-to-right crosswind in the summertime.  And it will be quite a long par 4 ... up to 475 yards if you want to go back there, which I certainly won't!

Patrick, I feel like I've been pulled off the course after playing 3 holes because of lightning in the area.  The sky looks clear to me.  Any chance we can head to the 4th tee and resume the round?

Ed,

My internet service was disconnected because the cable guy, in fixing my neighbors cable, disconnected mine.

That put me behind in my work.

As soon as I get caught up, I'll stroll from # 3 green over to the 4th tee.

Give me a day or so.

Patrick, by all means, feel free to head to the range and loosen up again.  The tee shot on #4 is a tough re-start after a weather delay.

Ed - you're frothing at the mouth      :P

I think Patrick is setting you up    hah
If a player insists on playing his maximum power on his tee-shot, it is not the architect's intention to allow him an overly wide target to hit to but rather should be allowed this privilege of maximum power except under conditions of exceptional skill.

George:

Even though the 4th tee is very close, given some of the things Patrick has been saying on other threads, particularly his constant Pine Valley threads, I'm beginning to worry if he will be able to even find the tee on NGLA's redan.

Here's a sneak preview for you Ed:

Didn't want to show too much leg!
Severally on the occasion of everything that thou doest, pause and ask thyself, if death is a dreadful thing because it deprives thee of this. - Marcus Aurelius
