Champions Retreat-Creek Nine
« on: January 11, 2009, 10:52:50 AM »
Here are some pictures from the Creek Nine at Champions Retreat credited to Gary Player Design.

#1 Par 4

# 2 Par 3

#3 Par 4

#4 Par 3  Most shots here feed to the left.

#5  Par 5

#6 Par 4  Short hole of about 350 yards from the tips.  Approach shots that hit the green feed left.

#7 Par 4  Cue the deer.

#8 Par 5

#9  Par 4  The ubiquitous long Par 4 finishing hole with water.  At least it is not a Par 5, that comes on the Nicklaus nine.

I have not had the opportunity to play any other Gary Player courses, and most people like the Nicklaus and Palmer Nines the best, but I think I enjoy the Player nine the most.

I agree. I found the Player nine to be the best of the three. There is not a bad hole at Champions Retreat.
